Who needs sleep anyway?

Here we are. Your litte one does NOT sleep. Maybe you're struggling with them sleeping through the night or they won't sleep long for naps or at all when you put them down. Regardless, sleep is sleep and we all NEED it. Here are some tricks to help "sleep train" your little one. I use the term sleep training lightly. In my experience, I believe in “good habits” from the very beginning. Your child is new to this world which means they are evolving into YOUR world. You know the phrase, “it’s my baby’s world, i’m just living in it?” If you don’t want to live out that saying, don’t create it to be true. You’ve been living in this world way longer... they can and will adapt to your world. So where do we begin? This is my approach. When a newborn comes home, they sleep often. This time is crucial for setting a schedule. Of course we all love to snuggle our brand new little love, but there’s a time and a place for all of that. If you want this to be effective, you have to simply place your sleeping baby down when they fall asleep. Do not continue holding them until they wake up again. Remember, when your baby sleeps you sleep
